The Parent Experience is a service operated by The Parent Experience Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

b) Technical Data

c) Anonymous PX Survey Data

The Parent Experience collects anonymous survey responses from employees of partner organisations. For GDPR purposes within service agreements, we consider the partner organisation to be the Data Controller, The Parent Experience Ltd to be a Data Processor and our analytics partner, WholeSum to be a Data Sub-Processor.

  • We do not collect names, email addresses, or directly identifiable information within survey responses

  • Responses are designed to protect participant anonymity from the outset

  • We do not attempt to re-identify individuals

Survey data may include:

  • Experiences of pregnancy, parental leave, and return to work

  • Perceptions of workplace culture and support

  • Open-text responses describing personal experiences

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Deliver and improve The Parent Experience platform

  • Generate insights, benchmarking, and reporting

  • Communicate with you (e.g. updates, support, insights)

  • Manage client relationships

  • Improve our website and user experience

We share anonymous survey response data (specifically open-text responses) with WholeSum Ltd. You can view WholeSum’s privacy policy here.

WholeSum Ltd:

  • Analyses qualitative (open-text) responses

  • Identifies themes, patterns, and insights

  • Provides aggregated outputs back to The Parent Experience, including the PX Score

Important:

  • No personally identifiable data is shared

  • WholeSum Ltd processes data solely for insight generation on our behalf

  • They are contractually required to handle data securely and in line with applicable data protection laws

8. International Transfers

If data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

  • Standard contractual clauses

  • Equivalent data protection standards

9. Data Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary:

  • Account data: while your account is active

  • Survey data: retained for benchmarking and trend analysis (in anonymised form)

  • Legal/financial data: as required by law
